The Aetranox™ Mesially Angled Sharpened Spade Proximator® is a surgical extraction instrument designed for mesial and bucco-mesial applications on maxillary premolars and molars, including root tips. Its thin profile and sharpened edges incise the periodontal ligament quickly and expand the alveolus laterally, allowing for controlled apical progression even in cases of subgingival fracture or lack of coronal structure. The tapered, one-piece design permits palm pressure for advanced placement and creates a purchase point for additional instrumentation.
