The wide (4.0mm) Large Distal Proximator™ is a surgical instrument designed to be advanced into tight periodontal spaces to completely sever fibers and laterally expand the socket. Its angulation makes it particularly effective for application on the distal of molars, superior to the furcation, and for the removal of sectioned mandibular molar roots. Suitable for distal and lingual applications, maxillary molars superior to the furcation, mandibular molars, and third molars.
