IPS e.max CAD HT blocks are made from lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) and are designed for chairside and lab CAD/CAM milling of permanent all-ceramic restorations, including crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers, 3-unit bridges, and implant-supported hybrid single-tooth restorations. The high-translucency (HT) formulation offers esthetic results with a flexural strength of approximately 530 MPa, and the blocks are compatible with CEREC/inLab milling systems with an average milling time of about 8 minutes. Firing is required after milling, and minimum restoration thicknesses are 1 mm for crowns and onlays and 0.4 mm for veneers.
