BenaCel Hemostatic Gauze is a dental dressing made of oxidized regenerated cellulose, radiation sterilized for safety. It is indicated for the treatment of bleeding wounds in dental and oral surgical procedures, including trauma, biopsies, pulpotomies, apicoectomies, periodontal surgery, extraction/dry socket, implants, and bone augmentation. The gauze dissolves quickly in blood exudate and forms a stable blood clot, helping to prevent dry socket formation.
