Will not burn in casting oven. Type 380 ceramic fiber tape is asbestos-free and made from high purity refractory fibers (not cellulose) with a melting point of 3400°F. Available in convenient sizes to fit all casting rings. Avoids asbestos hazard. Use with all investments including high temperature types. Availability: 1/32” and 1/16” thickness to provide the hygroscopic expansion required for the most precise casting which insures a perfectly fitted restoration.
