Tapered toward the neck, they fit the tooth perfectly and adapt to the gingival rim, while the antistatic treatment aids handling. These crowns can be used as molds for temporaries or for shaping the final layer in multi-layer restorations, and can be cut for use as matrices in composite restorations.
