With even distribution of the placement force and several points of contact with a matrix band, they facilitate posterior restorations that conform to the anatomy and curvature of natural teeth. Contact Wedges can be effortlessly placed/removed with Contact Wedge/Ring Pliers and stretched to a very thin profile to provide tight interproximal contact and support for a matrix band.
