Succinylcholine Chloride Injection, USP is a depolarizing neuromuscular blocking agent indicated as an adjunct to general anesthesia to facilitate tracheal intubation and provide skeletal muscle relaxation during surgery or mechanical ventilation. This sterile, non-pyrogenic solution is supplied in a 10 mL multiuse vial at a concentration of 20 mg/mL (200 mg per vial) and contains sodium chloride, methylparaben, and propylparaben as preservatives. It is latex-free and has an ultra short-acting duration of effect, typically less than 3 minutes.
