IPS e.max CAD is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) milling block system for chairside and lab CAD/CAM fabrication of full-contour, permanent all-ceramic restorations. The high-translucency (HT) blocks in shade A2 and size I12 offer esthetic results with high flexural strength of approximately 530 MPa and high fracture toughness, and are compatible with CEREC and inLab milling machines. Blocks require firing after milling, with an average milling time of about 8 minutes.
