Kerr TempBond NE is a self-curing, non-eugenol zinc-oxide temporary cement supplied in an automix syringe kit for trial cementing permanent restorations and cementing temporary crowns and bridges. The non-eugenol formula does not inhibit the polymerization of permanent resin cements or acrylic provisionals, making it a suitable choice for patients with eugenol sensitivity and for cases preceding bonding procedures. Each kit contains 2 automix syringes of 11.8 g each (23.6 g total) with 20 mixing tips; the base and accelerator are held in separate barrels and combined in the mixing tip, eliminating hand proportioning and spatulation. The set cement resists masticatory forces, seals the temporary against seepage, and removes easily from the preparation at the next appointment.
