Power Twist Periotomes™ allow you to engage, cut, and lift—all in one motion! The Power Twist Periotome Posterior Left follows the contour of the root, allowing you to engage and cut periodontal ligaments with ease. By using a twisting motion similar to that of a screwdriver, teeth and fragments are lifted out along with the root tips. Allows mesial and distal separation with less effort. Significantly reduces incidents of broken root tips. Provides superb visual and tactile feedback. To use, place the tip of the periotome at the gum line and apply pressure. Once engaged, slowly begin to twist the periotome around the root. With the periotome wrapped around the root, continue to twist and lift until the tooth is dislodged. Patented, gold titanium-coated stainless steel tips hold their edge without sharpening. Lightweight, non-slip ergonomic aluminum handles. Fully autoclavable. 7" long overall. For left posterior use.
