Beautifil II Gingiva is a fluoride-releasing, bioactive nano-hybrid universal composite from Shofu featuring S-PRG (Surface Pre-reacted Glass Ionomer) giomer filler technology with fluoride recharge capability. The G-Violet (G-V) gingival shade is designed for the cervical area, including aesthetic correction of gingival recession, wedge-shaped defects, exposed cervical areas, splinting, and re-balancing of pink aesthetics, and can be layered and blended with enamel shades. It offers excellent fluorescence, high radiopacity, enamel-like surface hardness, and eliminates shade variations associated with polymerization; an eight-year University of Florida clinical study published in JADA showed no secondary caries, no failures, no post-operative sensitivity, and high retention of color match and luster.
