The Isolyser SMS Sharps Self-Disposal Container is a complete on-site sharps management system that collects, treats, and disposes of used sharps in a single closed container. The 10-liter (2.7-gallon) white container comes pre-filled with a patented odor-free liquid monomer solution; when full, Catalyst A and B packets are added to trigger an exothermic polymerization reaction that solidifies the liquid into a plastic polymer, encapsulating sharps and rendering them non-biohazardous, unrecognizable, and safe for regular trash disposal in approved states. Each kit includes the container, catalyst packets, treated sharps sticker, cap, plug, and sealing tape, eliminating the need for biohazard waste pickup contracts or recurring fees.
