Hu-Friedy Gracey Rigid Curette, 17/18R, Double End, #6 Satin Steel Handle, SG17/18R6
The Hu-Friedy #17/18R Gracey Rigid Curette is a double-ended, posterior-specific periodontal instrument designed for subgingival scaling and root planing on the distal surfaces of molars. Its rigid, thicker shank provides greater strength and less flex than a standard Gracey, allowing effective removal of moderate to heavy calculus with controlled lateral pressure. The #6 satin steel handle offers a secure, balanced grip, and the stainless steel EverEdge blade construction resists corrosion and maintains sharpness through repeated sterilization.
