Its terminal shank is elongated by 3 mm for access to periodontal pockets and root surfaces of 5 mm or more, while the blade is half the length of a standard Gracey and 10% thinner to ease gingival insertion and reduce tissue distention. The EverEdge 2.0 stainless steel alloy uses an optimized heat control process to maintain a harder, sharper edge for longer.
