Parkell Brush & Bond is a 6th-generation, single-bottle, self-etching, self-priming, light-cured dentin/enamel bonding agent containing 4-META. The complete kit includes 1 bottle of 3 mL bonding liquid, 1 mixing well, and 100 standard activator brushes; the chemically treated activator brushes carry the initiator, so 1 to 3 drops of liquid are stirred in the well for 2 seconds to activate the bond. It bonds direct and indirect composite and ceramic restorations to dentin and enamel, seals dentin tubules to prevent post-op sensitivity, protects the pulp against microleakage and bacterial invasion, and forms an acid- and wear-resistant shield with a low 5-micron film thickness. Compatible with light-, dual-, and self-cured resins and with total-etch, selective-etch, and self-etch techniques.
