The Nordent #9 Molt Periosteal Elevator is a double-ended stainless steel surgical instrument used to separate periosteum and soft tissue from tooth or bone and to retract tissue during dental procedures. It features a standard round handle with a large curved 7.5 mm blade with a rounded tip on one end and a curved 3.5 mm blade with a pointed tip on the other; both ends are non-cutting and smooth.
