Nordent Composite Placement Instrument, Double-Ended, TiN Coated Paddle/Acorn #55, DuraLite Round Handle
Nordent Composite Placement Instrument #55 is a double-ended dental hand instrument designed for precise placement and shaping of composite restorations. One end features a 0° paddle with an elliptical cross section and parallel-sided blade measuring 9 mm long by 2 mm wide, while the opposite end is a small anatomical acorn burnisher 2.3 mm in diameter. The titanium-nitride (TiN) coating increases surface hardness and smoothness of the tips, reducing abrasion and eliminating "pull-back" when manipulating composite materials for smoother, more accurate restorations. The DuraLite round handle provides a lightweight, ergonomic grip.
