Nordent XDURA Universal Offset Sickle Scaler, Double End, #NMJ (R138), DuraLite Round Handle, Stainless Steel
The Nordent XDURA Universal Offset Sickle Scaler #NMJ (R138) is a double-ended hygiene instrument featuring two identical moderate-size, medium-reach sickle blades with 0.8 mm widths that taper to a point. The tips have a 20° mirror-image offset for improved access to anterior and premolar surfaces. XDURA blades are made from a proprietary stainless steel formulation with evenly distributed fine carbide particles, making them consistently harder, sharper, and longer lasting than traditional stainless steel, while the 100% stainless steel DuraLite round handle (3/8 inch diameter) provides a comfortable, low-glare grip that reduces fatigue.
