The XDURA® Posterior Sickle Offset #2 is a double-ended hygiene scaler featuring mirror image blades that taper to a point from a 0.8 mm width. The terminal shank is offset 60° from centerline with a 10 mm reach, designed for efficient subgingival scaling and root planing. This instrument incorporates Nordent's advanced XDURA® technology with extremely fine carbide particles evenly distributed throughout the micro-structure, combined with an advanced micro-finishing process to deliver a consistently sharper, harder, and longer-lasting blade that outperforms standard stainless steel scalers.
