The PDT ACE-12 Short Probe is a double-ended diagnostic instrument featuring Advanced Comprehensive Exam (ACE) markings at 3-6-9-12 mm on both ends, with one end configured as a furcation probe and the other as a standard 12 Short probe. It features a large 3/8" diameter resin handle with knurling to the working tip for superior tactile sensitivity, rotational control, and reduced hand fatigue, while the 440A surgical stainless steel tips are cryogenically treated to hold their edges two to four times longer than conventional instruments. The probe is 6.5" long, color-coded Pacific blue, sterilizable by all methods, and made in the USA.
