The PDT Cruise Double-Ended Explorer #2 (DE2) is a diagnostic instrument featuring a contra-angle (pigtail) design for tight-radius exploration. Its large 3/8" diameter Pacific blue resin handle provides extreme tactile sensitivity and lightweight feel (only 1/2 oz), while the 440A surgical stainless steel tips, treated with cryogenic technology, hold their edges two to four times longer than standard instruments. The knurled handle extends to the working tip for enhanced control and reduced hand fatigue, and the instrument is sterilizable by all methods.
