Hu-Friedy Perma Sharp PGA sutures are violet-dyed braided polyglycolic acid absorbable sutures designed for reliable soft tissue closure in dental surgical procedures. Each suture is 18 inches long with a size 4-0 thread and a laser-drilled C-6 reverse cutting needle (18.7 mm, 3/8 circle) made from a proprietary stainless steel alloy for smoother penetration and less tissue disruption. PGA suture loses strength in 14-21 days and is fully absorbed in 50-90 days. Supplied 12 per box.
