Pac-Dent Pac-Flex Post System Primary Reamers, Size 2, 1.45 mm Diameter, Blue, 1/Bx
Pac-Dent Pac-Flex Post System Primary Reamers are endodontic reamers comparable to Flexi-Post, supplied in a Size 2 blue color-coded kit. The tapered tip provides a smooth transition between post and root canal, while the split shank redirects insertion stresses toward the post rather than the root. Sharp threads cut into dentin instead of compressing it, and venting channels avoid hydrostatic pressure during cementation. The wider coronal shank improves fit in the coronal root canal, and the serrated head design offers excellent retention of core buildup materials. Cross slots in the post head accommodate a wrench for placement in narrow areas, and posts and drills are packaged in color-coded blister packs for easy identification, storage, and handling.
