Pulpdent Porcelain Etch Gel is a 9.6% hydrofluoric acid thixotropic gel used for chairside etching of ceramic and porcelain restorations prior to adhesive bonding. It selectively dissolves the glassy phase of ceramics to create micro-retentive surface topography, enhancing micromechanical adhesion with resin cements. The kit includes four 1.2 mL syringes and eight pre-bent applicator tips, providing a one-minute etch that rinses off easily and does not stain ceramics or composites.
