ParaPost XP Plastic Burnout Posts are pre-fabricated, parallel-sided casting components for the direct/indirect casting technique, used to create custom cast post and core restorations after root canal therapy. The rigid polymer posts burn out cleanly during casting to leave an accurate canal replica, and their X-shape retention pattern provides superior mechanical grip and excess cement removal. Size 4 posts measure .040" (1.00mm) in diameter, are color-coded yellow, and are compatible with standard ParaPost drills; each refill package contains 25 posts.
