This upper and lower periodontally involved demonstration model features soft pink silicone material with sectioned gingivae to show both normal healthy bone and tissue on one side and periodontally affected areas with calculus deposits on the opposing side. The model is sectioned interproximally and through the buccal at the midline for easy visualization during patient discussions. Teeth on the normal side are securely fixed in place, while teeth on the affected side are anatomically rooted and held with adhesive to demonstrate mobility, making it an excellent educational tool for patient discussions about periodontal disease.
