Quala Chromic Gut is an absorbable suture made from purified connective tissue (bovine or ovine intestine) treated with chromic salts to slow absorption and extend tensile strength during tissue healing. Each suture is 27 inches long with a 4/0 diameter and features a C-6 reverse-cutting 19mm needle (3/8 circle) with a precision-drilled end for secure needle-suture attachment and clean, repeated passage through tissue. Supplied sterile in a double pouch for aseptic transfer, 12 sutures per box, ideal for dental and general soft-tissue closure where suture removal is undesirable.
