Itena MTA-Bioseal is a bioceramic root canal sealer based on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), supplied as a double-paste automix syringe for permanent obturation of the root canal system. Its hydrophilic formulation uses dentinal moisture to set, expanding slightly to adapt to canal walls and seal accessory and lateral canals, while its high pH provides antibacterial activity and its radiopacity allows radiographic confirmation of the seal. Each package contains a 4 g MTA cement syringe, 10 mixing tips, and 1 mixing pad.
