It features a friction-lock barrel that simplifies loading of 50 ml cartridges in either 1:1/2:1 or 10:1/4:1 ratios, and is autoclavable up to 250°F / 121°C. The dispenser includes a release lever and plunger for simultaneous loading and removal of cartridges.
