NTI 2-Piece Operative Carbide Burs feature a patented welded design that joins a high-quality tungsten carbide head to a durable stainless steel shank, calibrated for concentric, vibration-reduced operation. The #245 Long Pear head (0.8 mm diameter, 2.0 mm length) is suited for preparing converging walls, producing undercuts, contouring occlusal anatomy, and removing amalgam, cutting efficiently through enamel, amalgam, metal, and composite. The 19 mm friction grip (FG) shank fits high-speed handpieces, and the burs are fully sterilizable and autoclavable at 121°C for 20 minutes or 134°C for 5 minutes. Supplied non-sterile in packs of 5.
