Embrace Varnish is a resin-based formulation that releases calcium, phosphorus ions, and fluoride to treat dental hypersensitivity when applied to the enamel and dentin. These ions are coated with xylitol, preventing the calcium and phosphate salts from reacting before coming in contact with saliva. When saliva dissolves xylitol to release the calcium and phosphate ions, they react with fluoride in the saliva to create fluorapatite protection on the teeth. The protective layering sensitizes the teeth by filling non-carious lesions on the enamel and blocks dentinal tubules. Embrace Varnish promotes the continuous release of 5% higher fluoride content and delivers ten times more fluoride than other brands in 4 hours. The unique formulation requires no mixing and does not clump up or separate, guaranteeing a uniform dose in every use. Each Unit Dose Kit includes 200 (0.4 ml) unit doses and an applicator brush.
