The Long Head Straight Fissure burs are ideally used to achieve teeth preparation forms with straight parallel walls and floor, gaining access to the dentin, or for any instance that a straight and smooth preparation margin is desired or a straight-bladed shape is needed. They contain a cross-cut feature that incorporates notches within their blades, increasing cutting efficiency.
