It provides a breathable yet impervious bacterial barrier against airborne and waterborne contamination, with outstanding repellency to water, alcohol, and iodine, and exceptional wet or dry tensile strength. Compatible with EtO, steam, chemical vapor, gamma irradiation, and E-Beam sterilization, it is biodegradable and free of the oily plastic residues that can cause skin sensitivity.
