The Parkell Turbo Sensor is an autotune magnetostrictive ultrasonic scaler for dental prophylaxis and periodontal scaling that senses whether a 25 kHz or 30 kHz insert is in the handpiece and automatically switches to the matching operating frequency. Each unit ships as a complete system with the scaler control unit, foot controller, water line with in-line water filter and spare filter disk, quick-disconnect water connection, and two autoclavable handpiece sheaths; inserts are sold separately. It offers an expanded low-power Perio mode for gentle debridement and a foot-controlled Turbo power boost for heavy calculus, and operates on 110V power.
