Split-Control Professional is a system for gentle widening of the alveolar ridge and simultaneous lateral bone condensation in cases of horizontal bone deficit. With the help of special screw-shaped condensation and spreading instruments ( spreaders ), horizontally resorbed bone can be expanded in a controlled and gentle manner ( bone spreading ). In addition, cancellous bone is condensed thanks to the special geometry of the spreaders (bone condensing), thus increasing the primary stability of the inserted implants .
