Bausch Arti-Check® micro-thin articulating paper is a 40-micron, tear-resistant paper coated on both sides with liquid colors in color-filled microcapsules that burst under masticatory pressure to release precise, distinctly visible marks. The two-tone red/blue coating allows sequential inspection of static (concentric) and dynamic (eccentric) occlusal contacts, and color regeneration permits repeated marking. Pre-cut strips measuring 52 mm x 20 mm are supplied in a plastic dispenser for one-handed removal without forceps, making them suitable for moist surfaces such as gold, ceramic, polished metal, or acrylic.
