Arti-Spot 2 is a brush-applied contact color indicator used to test the accurate fit of crowns, inlays, onlays, telescoping crowns, and clasps, as well as the friction surface of debris. It is especially effective on highly polished occlusal surfaces such as gold or ceramic, where it dries in seconds to a thin 3-micron film. Excess pigment can be easily removed with hot water, steam, brushing, or alcohol, leaving no residue.
