Defend Autoclave Indicator Tape is an economical monitoring device used during autoclaving to indicate a complete sterilization process. The tape shows a significant color change when the temperature in the autoclave reaches 135°C (275°F), confirming that sterile conditions have been attained. It features a strong, extra-tacky adhesive that will not peel off on paper or plastic surfaces, and is suitable for use in steam, dry heat, and chemical vapor sterilizers. Each roll measures 1 inch wide by 60 yards long.
