DycloPro is a topical anesthetic solution containing 0.5% dyclonine hydrochloride, indicated for anesthetizing mucous membranes prior to endoscopic procedures, for root planing and scaling, and to suppress the gag reflex during x-ray positioning, prosthetic impressions, and surgical procedures in the molar area. It has an onset of 2-10 minutes and provides approximately 30 minutes of anesthesia. Each multi-dose jar is prescription-only and requires a state license for purchase.
