The NUPRO Freedom Outer Sheath is an autoclavable metal component designed to isolate the inner module of the NUPRO Freedom Cordless Prophy System from patient contact, in compliance with CDC guidelines for infection prevention. It features a fluid seal and is used with NUPRO Freedom Disposable Prophy Angles; traditional ISO-style DPAs are not compatible. This sheath is intended for use with the newer NUPRO Freedom handpiece (manufactured after December 2016) and is not compatible with the previous RDH Freedom handpiece.
