The NUPRO Freedom Outer Sheath is an autoclavable protective cover designed to isolate the inner module of the NUPRO Freedom Cordless Prophy System from patient contact, in compliance with CDC guidelines for infection prevention. It features a fluid seal and attaches to the NUPRO Freedom Disposable Prophy Angle at the tip. This metal sheath is compatible only with the newer NUPRO Freedom system (manufactured after December 2016) and is not compatible with traditional ISO-style disposable prophy angles or the previous RDH Freedom handpiece.
