Knit-Pak+ is an impregnated gingival retraction cord made from unique knitted microfibers that carry greater quantities of hemostatic solution than twisted or braided cords. It is impregnated with aluminum chloride hexahydrate (AlCl3·6H2O) at a controlled loading of 0.5 mg (±0.1 mg) per inch, providing both mechanical retraction and chemical hemostasis. The size #0 purple cord comes in a 100-inch (254 cm) container with an integrated ceramic cutting system in the cap, and its lint- and particle-free, fray-resistant construction packs easily into the sulcus and cuts clean without entangling in burs.
