MTA Fillapex is a biocompatible, bioceramic root canal sealer containing 13.2% Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and salicylate resin. This paste-to-paste system releases calcium ions to promote mineralized tissue formation and bone regeneration while providing excellent marginal sealing with high radiopacity. The sealer offers absolute zero shrinkage, sets in the presence of moisture, and features excellent flow characteristics that allow obturation of accessory canals with a working time of approximately 23 minutes.
