Air Techniques ScanX Intraoral Phosphor Storage Plates are wireless, flexible photostimulable phosphor (PSP) plates used for intraoral periapical radiographic imaging. Size 0 is the smallest plate in the ScanX line, designed for pediatric dentition and restricted-access adult anatomy such as limited mouth opening, lingual tori, or strong gag reflexes. Each plate is 30 times thinner than a wired digital sensor and offers 100% active surface area, capturing up to 40% more anatomy than a comparably sized rigid sensor, and operates in normal room lighting without a darkroom. Each pack contains 2 reusable Size 0 plates; barrier envelopes are sold separately.
