Tapered toward the neck, they fit the tooth perfectly and adapt to the gingival rim. They are easy to cut, resistant to tearing, and feature an antistatic treatment for easier handling. Use them as molds for temporaries or for shaping the final layer in multi-layer restorations; anterior crowns can be cut for use as matrices, and posterior crowns can be cut to create precise anatomical matrices for permanent two-surface composite restorations.
