The Hu-Friedy Slim Flush Cut & Hold Distal End Cutter is an orthodontic instrument that cuts and holds wire distally flush to the buccal tube or bracket while reducing debondings. It accommodates all wire types up to a maximum of .021" x .025" (.53 mm x .64 mm) and features a working end reduced by 50% compared to the standard model (678-111), improving visibility and eliminating the need for a cotton roll or gauze to catch the cut portion. Each cutter ships with one silicone insert pre-loaded in the working end plus two spare inserts; replacement inserts (678-013) are available separately.
