IPS e.max CAD is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) for chairside CAD/CAM fabrication of full-contour restorations, offering a biaxial flexural strength of 530 MPa and a 97.2% 10-year survival rate for posterior crowns. These PlanMill-compatible blocks are Low Translucency (LT) in shade BL2 and size I12, suitable for crowns, inlays, onlays, veneers and partial crowns with a minimum restoration thickness of 1 mm. The material can be polished and crystallized, or glazed and crystallized in a single step, and is compatible with conventional, adhesive or self-adhesive cementation.
