IPS e.max CAD is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic (LS2) for chairside CAD/CAM fabrication of full-contour restorations, offering a biaxial flexural strength of 530 MPa and a 97.2% 10-year survival rate for posterior crowns. These Low Translucency (LT) blocks in shade D3 and size I12 are compatible with Planmeca PlanMill milling systems and are indicated for crowns, three-unit bridges, veneers, occlusal veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, and implant-supported hybrid abutment restorations. The blue blocks are milled, then stained/glazed as desired and crystallized in a single step, with posterior crowns grindable and crystallizable in about 19 minutes.
