IPS Empress CAD Multi is a highly aesthetic, leucite-reinforced glass-ceramic CAD/CAM milling block designed for fabricating single-unit restorations such as anterior and posterior crowns, partial crowns, and veneers. The multi-chromatic block provides a smooth shade transition between dentin and incisal areas, with high chroma and lifelike opacity in cervical/dentin regions. With a biaxial flexural strength of 185 MPa, these blocks can be polished to a high gloss for efficiency or glaze-fired for increased strength, and require a furnace for post-milling crystallization.
