Dentsply Cavitron Thru Flow Insert is an ultrasonic instrument that is used for the general removal of calculus and dental biofilm. Built with an internal irrigation system, this insert ensures more cleaning efficacy. TFI-10 is used for light to moderate tartar and plaque while TFI-1000 is for accessing interproximal areas and line angles and for moderate to heavy deposits. This insert features a textured handle that offers a more stable grip and consistent tactility during procedures while reducing finger fatigue.
